13 May 2009Trying out Windows Live Writer and the new WordPress
One of the first programs I downloaded and installed on Windows 7 RC1 was the the Windows Live Essentials suite, which is available for free download from the Microsoft website. The software suite contains Windows Messenger, Mail, Photo Gallery, Movie Maker Beta, and Writer (among others).
I actually only downloaded the suite to try out Windows Live Writer, which I’ve been meaning to get to for quite some time now. To those who aren’t familiar with the application, it’s actually a nifty little program that let’s you manage your blog site outside of a browser.
